Programmatic Lead (Sydney)
12 month contract*

Purpose of Position

To lead, develop and proactively manage a next practice strategic programmatic media buying product that differentiates our offering, while training and supporting the team in its activation.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Overview

  • Work with and support the Head of Media & Technology to deliver a high performing product offering
  • Lead and proactively develop a next practice media buying programmatic product
  • Conduct ongoing in-depth research of the programmatic landscape – including available technologies/publishers, competitive offerings and positionings, and any developments and innovation in this space
  • Develop a product definition, positioning (including point of differentiation), justification, and potential commercial modelling
  • Create a strategic activation plan and best practice implementation rollout plan
  • Cultivate any collateral required to activate the product both within the business and the wider market
  • Ensure that the programmatic media buying product is commercially viable for Yango
  • Develop training programs and collateral to upskill the immediate team as well as the wider business
  • Develop and evolve the product in market, ensuring that it remains relevant and on the cutting edge of the industry
  • Actively understand and attain relevant industry qualifications for your position and the business, ensuring that these remain current and applicable to the market

 

Execution

  • Lead publisher partnerships at Yango, negotiating and building out direct rates, direct deal ID’s and programmatic guaranteed inventory options
  • Foster the Yango wider publisher/technology relationships ensuring relevant information, upskilling and onboarding of new platforms is delivered on to the wider team
  • Oversee best practice development, deployment and on-going management of programmatic media campaigns
  • Collaborate with Client Solutions Teams to develop and deploy plans to achieve relevant goals via digital trading platforms as required
  • Oversee best practice setup, implementation, and management of digital marketing campaigns
  • Use Yango’s proprietary technology (Rubii) to monitor and support campaign performance, and support the ongoing development of the technology
  • Train and support with the quality assurance of digital creative and loadings into relevant platforms
  • Train and support the ad-ops component of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring the correct loading and testing of tags and trafficking within the Yango ad-serving platform of choice
